Dick Scritchfield

Dick was the founding father of the Club when it started in 1957.  He is now an Honorary Member. His club car is a 1932 Ford Phaeton.  He has held the office of President numerous times and believes that he has occupied most of the other Club offices.

He also owns a 1942 Ford Jeep, 1965 Continental Convertible and 2000 Prowler.

Dick married his long-time girlfriend Carla in June 2014. He has a daughter and three grandchildren.

He’s retired now from his business, Scritch’s Auto Restoration.

His hobbies include cars, firearms, trains, ballroom dancing, ocean cruising and golf.

What it means to be a member of the L. A. Roadsters:  I’ve always been proud to be a member of the Club.  It’s great to see it continue all these years with it’s popularity.  With the publicity the Club  received in it’s infancy, it reestablished a hobby and an industry that was disappearing.
