Rich Boyd

Rich Boyd has been a member of the club since 1999. His club car is a red 1933 Ford roadster. He has served as club president for two years in 2006 and 2007.

Rich recently finished his 1940 Ford Pickup. The truck turned out awesome!

Rich and Linda have been married for
32 wonderful years and have two terrific children; one daughter and one son. In 2013, they became grandparents to a beautiful granddaughter.

Rich has worked as a photo journalist for the past 20-years at Street Rodder Magazine, Rod & Custom Magazine and as Editor of Custom Classic Trucks. After a short year of retirement, Rich started a new street rod magazine for the Action Pursuit Group in Orange, California, called The World of Rods. Rich says, "I'm still depriving some kid of his dream job!" And, hopes to continue to do so for a few more years.

Rich's hobbies include art and design. He worked previously as an industrial designer in the auto industry and toy industry. You can see some of Rich's artwork at richboydart.com.

What it means to be a member of the L.A. Roadsters:  Rich is proud of the charitable work the club performs in the community and the ongoing promotion of a great hobby that preserves a part of our automotive cultural heritage. The fellowship of other dedicated and talented hot rodders has been a unanticipated benefit of joining the club. The celebration of the club's 50th Anniversary was also a proud accomplishment, may the club enjoy 50 more years.
