Jim Gacchina

On July 8, 2021, Jim passed away from cancer. He was a member of the club for 39 years, held many offices and volunteered when needed. He will truly be missed by his family and friends.

Jim has been a member of the club since 1982. His club car is a 1936 Ford Roadster.  He also owns a 1936 Ford Sedan, 1948 Ford Club Coupe and 1939 Ford Convertible.

In 2021, Jim became an Honorary Lifetime Member.

In August 2012, Jim became a Lifetime Member of the Club. He has been an Active Member for 30 years.  

Jim has held the office of People’s Voice for four terms; President for one term; Show Chairman for six terms; and Assistant Show Chairman for six terms. In 2013, Jim is the Associate Member's Coordinator with Warren Boughn.

Jim is married, his wife is Janice.  They have two daughters and five grandchildren.  They also have a cat named Booties and a dog named Muffin. 

Jim is retired from the Auto Wrecking business after 40 years.

His hobbies include cars, traveling, playing cards, and wood carving.

L. A. Roadsters:  Jim takes  pride in being a part of a club with such great history.  He has made many good friends through the years and loves to travel with them.
