David Kornell

David has been an Associate Member of the club since 1992 and became an Active Member in July 2009.

His club car is a 1933 Ford Roadster. He also owns a 1951 Ford Convertible, a 1932 Ford Roadster Pick Up and a project 1956 Chevy Nomad. Marilyn has a hot rodded 1953 Morris Minor similar to the one she drove in the sixties.

David and Marilyn were married in 1964. They have three children, eight grandchildren and a growing number of great grandchildren.

David and Marilyn are retired. David and his brother Tim built and operated several senior housing complexes. Through the years, David enjoyed the privilege of working with both of his sons in the family business.

David enjoys spending time in his shop working on his cars and using his lathe and mill. Both David and Marilyn enjoy spending the winters in the warm desert in California, and the summers at home in Canada.

What it means to be a member of the L.A. Roadsters:  It is a privilege to belong to the car club that has high standard and is recognized around the world as one of the best hot rod clubs anywhere. I have always admired the L.A. Roadster Club and had the privilege of meeting some members in 1964.  It was a great honor to be invited to become an Associate Member in 1992 and then a full Active Member in 2009.
